RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Qing Zhang's research is motivated by understanding light-matter interaction of optoelectronic materials in nanoscale and their applications in nanophotonics and optoelectronics. Her group at Peking University is committed to the fabrication, and photophysics of metal halide perovskite and two dimensional semiconductors as well as their applicationsfor nanolasers, sensors and so on. Recently, Dr. Qing Zhang's group has studied the strong exciton-photon interaction of lead halide perovskite crystals, with the recent demonstration of room temperature exciton polariton, continuous-wave pumped lasingand Bose-Einstein Condensationof perovskite crystals. Her group has also explored excitonic and optical properties of two dimensional semiconductors such as MoS2, InSe, with emphasis on the novel properties under high pressure and lasing sources.
