RESEARCH INTERESTS

Magnetic nanomaterials have extensive applications in the interdisciplinary fields. Our research involves many fields including materials science, chemistry, nanotechnology, and nanomedicine. We focus on: (1) Low-dimensional material design and synthesis: chemical synthesis of dimension controllable (heterogeneous) nanomaterials and their magnetic and electromagnetic absorbing properties; (2) Smart biomedical materials: the functionalization of magnetic nanoparticles and their applications in medical imaging and disease treatment; (3) Next generation of energy materials: design and construction of advanced nanostructures for efficient energy storage and conversion.
