Red AvenueNew Material Group Co., Ltd., Red Avenue Foundation, and Ms Zhang Ning have attached great importance to supporting the development of science, education, and innovation. Since 2011, Red Avenue has established the “Red Avenue Scholarship” at Peking University to support graduate students in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering (CCME) who have made outstanding scientific research achievements. In 2020, Red Avenue donated funds to establish the “Red Avenue - Graphene Material Producing Award” to award the graduate students and research teams in CCME who have achieved outstanding results in cutting-edge material industrialization. In 2021, Red Avenue donated funds to establish the Red Avenue Development Fund for the School of Materials and Engineering (SMSE) at PKU. This is the first large donation received by SMSE since its establishment. Over the past two years, SMSE has made significant progress in discipline construction, faculty team building, talent cultivation, platform construction and other aspects. The fund and its demonstration effect provide valuable assistance for the development not only within PKU’s materials science field but also for the construction of new engineering disciplines. In 2022, Red Avenue once again donated funds to support the construction and development of the Department of History Studies at PKU, and made valuable contributions towards teaching, research, and talent cultivation efforts within that department.
